Mandala Festival 2017 Three Days of Peace, Spirituality, Acts, Games, Fun and Music

The mandala festival began on a Friday and directly by entering the campsite which is one with the festival terrain you are let free in a world of freedom with a nice breeze around a lake. Mandala is a festival which cares about the environment and admires to be a leader with this point of view in the festival scene. The tokens were digital (on the entrance wristband) and on returning empty cups there was a refund. Everybody seemed to care. You could notice the environmental welfare as well in the people as in the foods and drinks that were offered.

There was plenty of choice for vegetarians and vegans but you could also choose to eat a nice thick grilled angus beef burger or perhaps some fish ‘n chips. Everything is mixed throughout the area like stands, tents, mobile homes and stages. There was a lot of decoration and art everywhere and it all seemed to harmonize everybody. At one time I caught myself and my thoughts wandering off as I sat beside a tree in a part of the forest which was full of lights and visuals projected on trees. Even here you could set up a tent and make it your home for three days. The great advantage of everything in one place is you don’t have to wait in line every time you go from the campsite to the festival terrain. The complete area was so big you could easily walk for three days and then on the last day notice something new. Also for kids there was plenty to do beside swimming. Like different playgrounds and slides. For others there are yoga and meditation classes. Mandala seems to be a festival for everyone. There are people from all cultures, all ages and some are enjoying Holliday as others joined in for the music or workshops. You see people that are in love, families, groups of friends and a lot more.

For performances from well known names in the musical scene you don’t have to look here. But that is what you notice in the very low ticket price. In the daytime everyone seems to enjoy the nice weather and the beautiful lake as in the nighttime everything turn in to one giant light show with music everywhere and all sorts of music like; house, rock, hip-hop, cultural, psytrance, goa, pop etc. Mandala sure is one of the most relaxed festivals at this moment where you could either go crazy partying with friends or enjoy a nice and relaxed holiday with your family. Discovering everything that is present on mandala is the most enjoyable. If you wander around you stumble upon everything from, slides, arts and crafts for children, to beer-bars, ping pong, yoga sessions and workshops about old herbs from the amazone.
