WOO HAH! is now one of the biggest hiphop festivals in Europe, proving that the genre is more popular than ever. This summer, the festival presents a hiphop getaway, taking over a safari park called Beekse Bergen which is known for its beautiful, wooded surrounding and a large lake. The campsite and bungalow park of the festival are located directly next to the festival site. For three days, from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 July, WOO HAH! presents a magnificent line-up, campsite parties and many extra activities. Today, 13 new acts were added to the line-up: A$AP ROCKY, CARDI B, ACTION BRONSON, RICH BRIAN, CASHMERE CAT, SMOKEPURPP, DENZEL CURRY, A BOOGIE WHITE DA HOODIE, A$AP TWELVYY, FLONTI STACKS, NIGHT LOVELL, MULA B and BEATS BY ESKO. Previously, J. COLE, JOEY BADA$$, LIL PUMP and many more names were previously announced. Ticket sales have started at woohahfestival.com.
A$AP Rocky is considered one of the biggest, most influential rappers worldwide. He has been nominated several times for a Grammy Award and has worked together with some of the greatest hiphop artists, such as Kanye West, Drake and Kendrick Lamar. In 2016, Rocky unexpectedly arrived at WOO HAH! to support fellow A$AP Mob member A$AP Ferg musically on what turned out to be one of the most legendary performances of the festival. In 2018 he returns for a full headline show. Cardi B wrote history last year. With her huge hit ‘Bodak Yellow’, she is the first female rapper since Lauryn Hill to hit the number 1 position in the American charts without any featurings. The festival is set to announce about thirty more artists in the coming months.
In addition to the extensive line-up, WOO HAH! has much more to offer. Visitors can spend the night at the nature-rich safari park Beekse Bergen, close to the festival grounds. More information on accommodation can be found here. Ruud Lemmen (festival director): “The new location offers our visitors the chance to experience a unique hiphop vacation. There is the option to stay at the campsite, but there is also luxury accommodation on offer, such as bungalows and lodges. In addition to the music program, we will be livening up the hiphop lifestyle in our program with various activities. Escaping everyday life with the most fantastic hiphop, all around you.” On Friday 13 July, the campsite will open with a fully-fledged music program specially for all camping and weekend visitors.
