A quintessential part of any Outlook experience is to set sail across the glittering waters of the Adriatic Sea on one or more of the many spectacular boat parties which take place day and night.

Beneath the sizzling Croatian sunshine and star-lit night skies, the boat parties bring together a series of hosts including leading labels, club nights and collectives who pool together the very best of their respective sounds, distilling it all into a thrilling voyage of music, magic and mayhem.

Outlook is already packed with amazing talent across dub, reggae, hip-hop, drum ‘n’ bass, garage, grime, dubstep, house, techno and electronica, and the boat parties are the perfect opportunity to indulge in a few hours of action from Swamp 81, Just Jam, Renegade Hardware, High Focus Records, Channel One Sound, Deep Medi, Reggae Roast, Norman Jay’s Good Times, Butterz, Exit Records, Critical Sound, Congo Natty and many more.

Thursday 3rd’s highlights include Glasgow’s Walk n Skank with Mungo’s HIFI, Danny T & Tradesman, Charlie P, SR Wilson and Stalawa Sound, whilst the Zed Bias Boss Boat is hosted by Zed with Klose One and Clause Fuss bringing the gap between house and garage. The Noisia Invites boat will be a heavyweight b2b drum and bass session with Noisia, The Upbeats, Hybris and Fre4knc.

Friday 4th September sees the ever popular Hot Wuk bashment boat party set sail with The Heatwave at the wheel, and Critical Sounds presents Kasra B2B Foreign Concept, Enei B2B Emperor, Ivy Lab B2B Hyroglyfics and Mantmast. The Butterz crew introduce a grime showcase featuring hosts Elijah and Skilliam alongside guests Newham Generals, P Money, Flava D and Spooky. And expect huge dub and dancehall flavas from Subdub with Iration Steppas, France’s OBF feat Shanti D and Kingston Hifi 12 feat dancehall vocal legend Shinehead.


Contact with Youngsta, Icicle, Truth and Skittles, Exit with Dbridge, Skeptical, SP:MC, Fixate, Fracture, GQ & SP:MC feature on Saturday 5th September. There’s also Keepin’ It Grimey x King Original x Bluku Music who present Newham Generals, P Money, Logan Sama, JJ and Jammz, with Adrian Sherwood & Pinch presenting their ON-U Sound x Tectonic boat party with Distance & Ishan Sound joining them for a pumping voyage across the Adriatic.

Finally the Toddla T takeover on Sunday 6th September with special guests Mella Dee & Chimpo will have huge party vibes throughout, and Dispatch VS Symmetry present special guest Goldie alongside label hosts Ant TC1 & Break with Kyo & MC Visionobi on the mic. Congo Natty & Friends features Congo Dubz & Tenor Fly, Chopstick Dubplate and DJ Ron, set to be one of the biggest boat parties of the entire festival.

The sublime Fort Punta Christo and Roman Amphitheatre locations for Outlook are unlike anything else in the world, with myriad spaces including a moat, dungeon, garden, boats, beach and more, and two live stages in the harbour and forest. From the incredible setting perched above the dazzling Adriatic Sea, to its ground-shaking rigs from Mungo’s HiFi scoop rig to Void’s Incubus system, Martin Audio’s Longbow and the legendary NCA Soundsystem, the festival a thrilling adventure under the sun and stars.
