Holland’s hottest hip-hop party APPELSAP Fresh Music Festival are ready to announce the next heavy set of names for August 12th 2017, with Young M.A, J Hus, Amy Becker, Lunice, 070 Shake and more joining big dons  Lil Wayne, Dave, 67, Vic Crezée, Siobhan Bell and more across the Appelsap day. Four freshly curated stages from Boiler Room, Noisey and leading Dutch DIY Radio, Red Light Radio have also been announced. With fast, affordable flights between the UK and most major European airports, there’s no excuse not to join the Appelsap crew for the iconic festival’s 16th edition in the city’s picturesque Flevopark. Already boasting a killer program with Lil Wayne, Siobhan Bell, Dave and a crew of local selectors, Appelsap demonstrate their core values of UNITY, and commitment to creating a UNIVERSAL FAMILY with this diverse line up.  Round Two names bring a melting pot of sounds, from the latest in US Hiphop to UK Bass DJ’s. Brooklyn rapper Young M.A adds her effortless style and flow to the line-up, plus, fresh from releasing his celebrated album, ‘Common Sense’, J Hus brings his unique UK afro-beat blended sounds to the NL crowds, then Canadian trap-king Lunice returns with his much loved show, following his TNIGHT project with Hudson Mohawke. A force to be reckoned with, game changing female MC 070 Shake brings realness from New Jersey; while all star, genre-bending selector, and radio host extraordinaire Amy Becker represents the inimitable sounds of the UK Scene.

There’s plenty in the way of local young guns as well, first up, Bokoesam will be joined by fast-rising Dutch duoThomson & Ismael, hotly tipped following their ‘Hopefully Someday Soon,’ while New Kid on the block, Jozo, is set to hit Flevopark with a nine-strong Congolese back-up crew in tow. De Fellas bring the noise behind the label High Paid Fellas. Also announced are LouiVos and super selector Lion Kojo. 

These solid acts follow the round one names which laid the foundations for the Dutch celebration of all things from hiphop to bass, soul, R&B grime, rap, future-thinking electronica and all between. Needing no introduction, Hiphop mogul Lil Wayne headlines, then waving the flag for the UK’s scene are South London’s DAVE,  67 crew, plus NTS Radio’s Siobhan Bell. Also on board are Yung Nnleg and Kempi, while Soulection wonderkidJarreau Vandal and Vic Crezée also join. More local heads include Mairo Nawaz, Rotjoch United, Fresku, Mocromaniac, Pietju Bell, Woenzelaar, Killer Kamal, Braz and Kid de Blits.

Amsterdam has gained a well deserved rep as one of Europes music epicentres; with threads of style, music, and nightlife pulsing through the city with clubs, labels, artists and creators constantly emerging.
